When I got home, it was very dark. Why? There is no electric. Every year in Beijing, there is lack of electric to supply. Because there are a lot of factories. And it is very cold in winter. So the government decided: supply electric to resident and the factories must stop working. My house is in the manufacturing district. I was unlucky. It was very cold. So my father use the electric making machine to make electric. Oh! What a unlucky winter!

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. I have lost two puters, but I had another one. I bought it about five years ago. It can be called curio. Though it was old. But it can still work. Although it works slowly, I was pleased. I can go on internet again. Chatting with my friends is a good relaxing. In the internet, one of my old friends invited me to tomorrow’s party. He told me that some friends would go, too. When Mr Tulliver gets irritated by quarreling with Mrs G, one of his wife’s sisters, he’s also displeased with his sister’s husband and rushes to claim the money lent to them for repaying Mrs G. But he regrets deeply soon after pressing the poor couple and cancels the claim for he hates to see Tom hard on Maggie in the future as he does towards his sister. The second time I shed tears was today when I read the family council after Mr Tulliver goes bankrupt. The tragic atmosphere is extremely moving.

We stop watching the CCTV xxxx CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night.
Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep.
When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year.
After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got.
The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents.
This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.

Today our Chinese teacher taught us a song. We learnt fast but sang it too loudly. He also asked us to retell a story. Something like those is very interesting. 2.5 hours passed quickly. Jessica gave us some pictures and asked us to write a story in 30 minutes, from one of the pictures. We discussed and finished it very well I think life here is becoming more and more interesting. At school we just learn grammar and do exercises in English classes, that’s really very boring. There will be a speaking competition on Saturday. I’m not willing to take part in it because I’m a little afraid of speaking before so many people. I have made a speech in junior middle school, I stood before 2000 students and felt very upset and nervous. Though I finished the speech, I don’t think my behavior was good. Maybe you think I need more practice, but I think I’m not good at speaking. I do better in writing than in speaking. I know I should be confident with myself, but I think I won’t speak very well in front of so many people. Even though I have learnt the article by heats when I stand on the stage. I may forget all of it that’s really a terrible thing.
